The J. Paul Getty Museum has two locations. The Getty Museum’s secondary location is at the Getty Villa in Malibu. The Getty Museum at the Villa is dedicated to the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria, the Getty Villa houses approximately 44,000 works of art of which over 1,200 are on view.
The Getty Museum’s primary location is the Getty Center in Los Angeles which houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs.
Hours
- Monday through Sunday 10:00 am–5:00 pm, Closed Tuesdays.
- Closed Tuesdays and on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25 (Christmas Day).
Admission Fees
- Admission free, Timed-Entry reservation required.
