The J. Paul Getty Museum has two locations. The Getty Museum’s primary location is the Getty Center in Los Angeles which houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs.

The Getty Museum’s secondary location is at the Getty Villa in Malibu. As a museum and educational center dedicated to the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria, the Getty Villa houses approximately 44,000 works of art of which over 1,200 are on view.

Hours
  • Sunday through Friday 10:00 am–5:30 pm, Closed Mondays.
  • Saturday 10:00 am–9:00 pm.
  • Closed Mondays and on January 1, July 4, Thanksgiving, and December 25 (Christmas Day).
Admission Fees
  • Admission free, no reservation required.
  • Exhibitions free.
  • Parking 15$.
